After much thought, discussion, and prayer, First Congregational Christian Church has decided to merge with
Gospel Baptist Church. The church will continue to meet at 115 West 5th Street. We are praising God for this — for His provision through the process and for the future of these combined congregations.

First Congregational Christian Church is a family of believers committed to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
This commitment is shown in our beliefs concerning the historical person of Jesus as revealed in the bible and through our actions in the world. We believe that all human beings sin and fall short of God's perfect moral standard (Romans 3:23), but God graciously offers forgiveness through Jesus because of his vicarious death on a cross for the sins of mankind (Romans 5:8). All who come to Jesus in faith will receive forgiveness and eternal life (John 3:16).​
